New product

Great Loire Valley wine, Sancerre, appellation d'origine contrôlée, "Tournebride" 2014, Domaine Vincent Gaudry, Sauvignon Blanc.

Ripe citrus fruits and the minerality of the chalky soil dominate the smell. Aging on fine lees enriches the wine with a buttery texture, and the acidity of Sauvignon Blanc is distinct on the aftertaste.

Volume 75cl

Situated at the foot of Sancerre, in the small wining village of Sury-en-vaux, this small winery has been a part of the Gaudry family for generations. In 1993 Vincent began the long procedure towards organic farming and progressively towards Biodynamic agriculture, until achieving DEMETER certification. Vincent strongly acknowledges the importance of recognising the work carried out by previous generations of winemakers, as it is thanks to them that the appellation benefits from its reputation. But, the terroir must never be overlooked, and the wines from this winery are rich and generous ones, marked by the complexity of the Sancerre soil.
