Wine pairing: the structure, complexity, balance and finesse of this sweet wine make it a universal one. It will go well with a large range of desserts including dried-fruit puddings or cakes, crêpes Suzettes, apple pie or chocolate and apricot cheesecake. Also great with strong blue cheese.
This 15 hectare winery was created back in 1786 and is currently run by the 7th and 8th generations of the family, François and his son Julien. The diversity of clay and silica in the terroir allow Chenin Blanc to express itself in a various number of ways. The winery became organic certified in 2003 in order to stimulate the soils ecosystem as well as the vineyards. Grapes are carefully selected to remove rotten or unripe grapes direct in the vineyard or just before pressing. This way wines are as pure as possible and perfectly express the diversity of the appellation as well as the potential of the grape.
