In the heart of Vouvray, five generations have progressively enlarged and developed this winery. Today, the vineyard is spread over 33 hectares, and the vines have been cultivated in Biodynamie since 1995. Viticulture and viniculture knowledge, passed down throughout the years, have permitted this winery to adapt easily, and to prepare it for the next generation.
The year the winery converted to Biodynamie, is also the year that they began to cultivate the plots of land around the historical site of the Marmoutier Abbey. These plots had been abandoned for two centuries, and it was here where Saint Martin first planted Chenin Blanc, effectively laying the foundations for the future appellation.
The vouvray wines produced by this family are the perfect example of the potential of Loire Valley Chenin Blanc.
